1K Kids’ Fun Run – 8:40 a.m. Start
Children will follow a safe 0.62 mile route along a paved sidewalk. Parents are encouraged to run with younger children. All participants receive a race bib, award and t-shirt. Recommended for ages 11 and younger.
5K Run/Walk – 9 a.m. Start
Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach, Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. Runners and walkers will be chip timed using the Bib Tag System. Awards will be given to the top 2 female and male finishers in each age group.
Awards
Medals will be given to the first 2 female and first 2 male finishers in each of these categories for the 5K run: 10 and under, 11-14, 15 -19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and up.

Raffle tickets for the virtual reality headset can be purchased on runsignup.com, at packet pick-up or on race day. The raffle ticket winner will be announced at the awards around 10:30 a.m. on race day.
